Yaffed is offering a select group of qualified candidates the opportunity to be immersed in the world of social justice while acting as an ambassador of our mission on their respective campuses.

Fellows will be expected to:
- Attend workshops and events.
- Host two on-campus events to raise awareness of our issue amongst peers.
- Engage in advocacy with elected officials by writing letters and conducting meetings.
- Attend at least one press conference or rally.
- Sign up a minimum of 15 peers to Yaffed’s newsletter.
- Amplify Yaffed’s message and promote updates and events on social media channels.
Details:
- The applicant must be a rising junior or senior undergraduate, or graduate student at an accredited university in New York State.
- The Fellowship will take place during the 2021-2022 academic year.
- The applicant should ideally be majoring in the social sciences, demonstrate interest in Jewish communal life, have a strong social media presence, and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
- This application consists of three sections: personal information, documentation uploads, and an essay section. All information provided will be kept strictly confidential and will be used to determine Fellowship candidacy.
- Each Yaffed Fellow will receive a stipend of $500.
