The Yaffed 2021 Scholarship Application

Yaffed is pleased to announce the 2021 Scholarship Program for current and former yeshiva students in New York who have received limited and insufficient instruction in secular studies. The goal of the Scholarship Program is to provide financial assistance to those seeking to bolster their or their children’s education. Scholarship funds can be used towards college tuition.

While there is no cost to apply for the scholarship, recipients will be required to contribute to Yaffed’s mission in a way that is best suited to them. There are several options to fulfill this requirement such as being featured on Yaffed’s UnEducated Podcast, writing an op-ed to be published in a news outlet, or meeting with elected officials to discuss the state of yeshiva education.

Due to the sensitive nature of this issue, we understand that some applicants may not be comfortable being involved publicly in our mission. In that case, we are happy to discuss opportunities for individuals to apply anonymously.
