Take action on behalf of the 65,000+ children being denied an education
Send a message to the state legislature and help us advocate for public funding for culturally responsive tutoring and remediation programs that will serve the unique needs of students attending Hasidic and Haredi yeshivas that have historically not provided a sound basic education.
These students need your help! So far, the focus has been on enforcement of the law and getting public regulators to force yeshivas to improve. But, we know change is going to take time and that won’t help the many, many thousands of today’s students. High school-aged students who have never learned fluent English and don’t have any competency in Math or science need help now to even begin to get caught up. Help us demand that the state dedicate money in the Fiscal Year 2025 Executive Budget to help these students.
